Transportation in Vilnius, Lithuania

Remoted operated a small robot bus in Vilnius in cooperation with the local transport authority JUDU.

REMOTED had the pleasure of operating Auvetech's Iseauto robotic shuttle in cooperation with Vilnius' public transport authority JUDU in late 2024. The service began in September in almost sweltering weather and ended in snowy conditions at the end of November. It was a two-month trial as part of the EU's EMBRACER project.

The 3.5 km long route ran through the beautiful Uzupis and Paupys areas with 30-minute intervals. There were seven stops on the route and an average of 450 passengers per month. During the trial period, almost 1,000 passengers used the line.

Passengers were satisfied with the service and there should have been even more car capacity.
